Gold Crescent recalls Martyr Mizgin

Movement of the Gold Crescent for the Feminist Culture in PJAK recalled Martyr Mizgin( Gurbet Aydin) on the occasion of her 29th, martyrdom annual anniversary.

On the occasion a statement was issued by the Movement of the Gold Crescent for the Feminist Culture in PJAK, reads:

” on May 11th, 1992, our comrade and artist Mizgin was blocked by the enemy and performed an intrepid resistance in which she showed reality of commitment to idea, land and culture in standing up to all attempts that aim to obliterate culture, history, lnad and home that made her a leading and a pioneering figure and an artist personify language and indigenous culture”.

Inspired by the spirit and identity of the Guerrilla women and the artist we recall the 29th annual anniversary of the martyrdom of Mizgin (Gurbet Aydin)  as we recall all martyrs that fell in May to whom we bow in deference”.
