Hanan Othman

The July 19 revolution is considered one of the greatest comprehensive popular revolutions that were distinguished by its colourful and multi-sectarian brilliance against the fascist Baathist policy, which for decades has denied the identity and culture of the indigenous peoples that took root in their lands despite the heavy torrential rains and storms. This brilliant revolution that drew on the strength and will of women is its light and violence, and won victories for all of humanity and dazzled the whole world with its wise and correct steps towards a democratic, pluralistic society led by and awareness of free women that was inspired by the thought and philosophy of thinker Abdullah Ocalan. This revolution, which broke out in a small geographical spot, will have repercussions in the near regional and global perspective.
