Kongra Star members: Turkey considers every struggling woman as threat to its despotic regime

The talk of Kongra Star members to our agency (ANHA) came in connection with the latest massacre that took place by a drone of the Turkish occupation, which targeted a civilian house in the village of Helinj, southeast of Kobane city, and led to the martyrdom of 3 women, including two members of Kongra Star Coordination.

The Administrator in the Training Committee of the Kongra Star in the Euphrates region, Falak Yusuf, said that the martyr Zahra Berkel planted affection in the heart of whoever met her, and she never abandoned her duty towards women and developed their awareness, as she supported every woman who sought help and was sincere in her work with all democracy and justice.

Falak emphasized: This is not the first time that Turkey has targeted the will of free and leading women, and is trying to strike women directly.

Turkey has been targeting women since the establishment of the Women Movement

In her turn, the Member of the Kongra Star Coordination in the Euphrates region Rawshan Hajem commemorated all the martyrs of freedom in the figure of the martyr Zahra Berkel, Amina Wessi and Heboun Mulla Khalil, and said: “The Turkish state sees in every woman who fights for freedom a threat to its security and authoritarian regime, and this scheme is not new but since the beginning of the emergence of the Free Women Movement.”

She added: The martyrs were not carrying weapons, but rather carrying the pen to introduce the world to the issue of women and the history of the Kurds, and the three martyrs were targeted by Turkey and the countries claiming to protect human rights before the international silence.

Rawshan Hajem said: “Our martyrs were fighters for the freedom of women, and they participated in all events and activities with all their efforts, and did not hesitate for a moment in their struggle.”
